Rinska Moritz

I was born in Minnertsga, Friesland, a Province of the Netherlands, in 1953. Our family migrated to Australia in 1955 as part of my Father’s Christian ministry and we settled in Sydney. Five years later, we moved to Adelaide, where we stayed until 1970 when, again due to my father’s work, we relocated to Upper Ferntree Gully in Victoria. There were many ups and downs in the ensuing years, however in 2000 I met Hank. We were married in 2001 and we moved to Warrnambool.
I spent my working life in offices, a profession choice which I inherited from my paternal grandfather, and I thoroughly enjoyed that working life, which culminated in three years working here in Warrnambool as a PA to a local solicitor.
Since that time, I have revelled in my retired life, enjoying time as a homemaker, an at-home grandma, a presenter and committee member of 3WAY-FM, a CRE instructor at Warrnambool West, Allansford and Warrnambool Primary Schools and more recently a Kids Hope co-ordinator at Warrnambool Primary School and a Wellbeing presence at Warrnambool West Primary School.
In our vacation time, Hank and I love to travel, both within Australia and cruising overseas. I look forward to our future, without knowing much about where it will take us but knowing always that we are secure because we walk with God.
My time with 3WAY is very precious to me, as I love to engage with our listening audience, as well as with fellow presenters. I love the diversity we have at 3WAY and the fact that we are truly a community radio station where everyone who wants to, gets to have a go, whether that be behind the microphone or in the more mundane areas of administration. 3WAY is a very precious part of my life.
