The Warrnambool Symphony Orchestra invited composers in the region to create new works for the orchestra to play. Audiences can now hear the diverse and exciting pieces created by the 7 composers who took up the challenge. Members of the public are invited to an open rehersal Saturday 5^th August at the Hammond Centre, Christ Church, any time between 12-00noon and 5-00pm. Entry is by gold coin donation. The weekend will culminate with a concert performance of the new music at the Hammond Centre, Christ Church at 2-30pm Sunday 6^th August. Tickets to the Sunday concert at $10-00 per person will be available at the door.
