Conductor Ken Stott, the Warrnambool Symphony Orchestra and soloists will present a concert of Winter Classics at 7.30 p.m. on Saturday 20th August at the King’s College Auditorium, Balmoral Road, Warrnambool. As well as familiar classical orchestral works, there will be solo performances on the violin, flute, trumpet and piano, accompanied by the orchestra. A highlight will be the opening movement of Beethoven’s Piano concerto No 2. with Anita Hoekstra at the grand piano.
